A Family Photo Shoot, at Mohonk Mountain Resort!

Oh my heart, how I love this family!!

A "Miss Kimmi's Kid" since birth, M's progress has brought me to tears more than once!

Cerebral palsy may challenge him, but it will not hold him back.  He is a strong, determined and oh so sweet boy.  

What a THRILL it was to photograph him, at Mohonk Mountain Resort, just before my teaching gig, with the Lamplighter Guild.  All credit goes to his "out of the box" mama for the idea!

Inspired by Dana N's stunning shoot, we have an encore outfit!  You just can't go wrong with this floral dress and floppy hat!

I asked my hubby about our favorite place to say goodbye and the conversation went something like this:

Me: So, if the world was ending and we didn't have phones or any way to communicate, where would our favorite place be, to meet and say goodbye?

Fred: Mohonk

Me: Well, yes it's a favorite place, but... {it's about 4 hours from our house}

Fred: Cape May

Me:  Oh another good one, but I was thinking of someplace more practical.

Fred: Home Depot!

lol

Really?

Fred: Folklore.  Oh... also not a bad idea.  But...

Finally, I gave him some hints- I was thinking someplace romantic and within 20 minutes of our house.

Fred: The Star Barn!

Yess!
