Fiddle Lake Farm {Love Letters} The Dance Scene Finale!

For an uber romantic finale, we (Pam & Elizabeth, thank you, ladies!) embellished the dance floor with copies of the original love letters.  ahhh... melt my heart!
I'm not gonna lie.  This was a friendship testing scene.  "Noooo... your ponytail isn't going to catch on fire."  "Quick!  Move that candle!"
And what's a dance floor without a little dance off?!
"The Dunn Dancers"  (Mamie's family)
VS "The Wells Whirlers" (Johnie's family)  Signs from Write Away For You!
Sister Act!
I love these two!!!
bahahahah!
What better way to end the shoot, than with an improv moment, from Piper (Pappy & Tomlynn's daughter) and her cousin, recreating the couple's pose!  I love it!!!

Fiddle Lake Farm {Love Letters} The Cake Scene!

Why oh why hasn't the internet advanced enough to include TASTE into a reader's experience??

You'll just need to take my word for it,  "Frosted" cakes are divine!!!!  Or better yet, call. order. eat. and join me in the collaborative "mmmMMMmmmm" that will surely come from your overly-happy mouth!

The scene: set up near the tablescape, this apple tree & FLF's antique buffet were the perfect combination for Julie's cakes & Lori's flowers.
A closer look is needed to truly appreciate all of the detail, in this beauty.
Phrases from Mamie & Johnie's original love letters were hand written onto the cake, by Julie.  Have you ever seen a more sentimental edible?
An abundance of flowers cascading out of the buffet drawer.  Yes, please!!
Ahhh... so lovely!
Candles without hurricanes, outside, just after Tropical Storm Lee blows through... mmhmm... not tricky at all!
Does it get much more romantic?

Fiddle Lake Farm {Love Letters} The Details!

Honestly, I couldn't say which I loved more about this shoot, the love letters "big picture" or the smaller details that made everything worth a second look.

Take the hair, for example.  Did you see the twist, on the left?  Or the headpiece and sash- did you notice the broaches?  And how about the feathers or chili peppers, in the bouquet?  It's these detail additions that make these vendors spectacular.

Hair by Tiffany Rose Harris.  Hairpiece by Lovely Lady Accessory.
Make up by Debra Ann.
Sash by Lovely Lady Accessory.
Ring from Cookie Lee, consultant- Angie Rhen.
Earrings from Cookie Lee, consultant- Angie Rhen.
Flowers by Wildflowers by Design.

Fiddle Lake Farm {Love Letters} Tomlynn & Pappy Eye Candy

Every {wedding} styled shoot must have romantic photos of the "happy, in-love" couple.

Since most use models, for styled shoots this can sometimes transfer to "film" as looking staged or ho-hum.

Tomlynn and Pappy, on the other hand, are a real life, newly married couple.  In fact, they celebrated their one year anniversary, the same week that we did the FLF shoot!  The kisses, eyes of admiration, smiles and sense of contentment are 100% genuine.  Ask me how happy I was with this pair.  :)

Love this car?  It's available as a wedding "add on", at FLF!
